2009 prize moey was £500 o the winner £200 raised for the guide dogs for the blind.

This memorial is a fitting tribute to John Westwood and it helps us keep Johns name alive and his association with dartswhich would he would have loved,and truely deserved. Wev hope this competition will be well supportedthis year again,so we can continue this event annually.so come along and take part or just be part of the day. ther will be great darts on display and a terrific atmosphere. Many thanks once again,to players,organisers,raffle donators and everyone for making this event possible.

John Westwood 2010 Dart memorial is to take place at The Twisted Sports Bar, Unit 27-28 The Waterfront, Level Street, Brierley Hill, West Midlands DY5 1XJ. Players will be able to register on the day until 1.00 pm. Prize money is to be paid to last last four plus trophies for the Winner & Runner Up. Prize money will be determined by the number of entries, last years prize money was £500 and this year we have the added bonus that Twisted have kindly agreed that any cob (bread roll) money taken on the day can be thrown into the prize money fund so this could potentially add £100-£200 to the total. Theres a Soul Disco after the darts ko as well so this will be a great day out. 48 players will battle it out in a round-robin competition which will be played over a period of 8 Championship Events during 2010. Each player will complete a minimum of 5 league matches at each event, earning themselves championship points. The top 16 players of the Championship Table will then progress through to the Finals Event on 11th December, where the winner will be crowned The 2010 Birmingham Dart Players Champion and will receive £1000.

In addition, each Championship Event will also feature an exclusive players knockout competition with £1600 to be won.

HDP presents a 10 month open competition league.

The competition will be based at a series of venues between February and November.

£10 entry per player, per event - Split £7 to the days prize fund, £3 to the league pot.

Prize fund will be paid out on the day, down to the last 4 competitors, cash prize to be calculated on the day depending on the number of entries.

League pot will be built up during the course of the 10 events and league points will be awarded from first round of each event.

Entrants must be registered and at the venue for the draw and must be available to play upon anouncement.
