Yes there is a comp for all the officials on the 4th September 2011 in Derby. I am hoping to get the pros to mark for you.

Id love to be a marker at any of the events. I know im 14 but i do mark alot of super league, county youth, league and cup games and so far have never been corrected :). And many a time ive been asked to mark for people who have lost in mens competitions.

new guy here, but what exactly is this? It was my understanding that losers chalk at PDC floor events, and the first round is marked by the designated marker on the board sheet (usually a player in the last match in the 1st round). At least that was the deal at the WSOD.

More information please :) As something similar was discussed by several of us as a possibility for MLD events in North America.

Unfortunately you need to be 16 to mark on the Pro Tour.

That is still how it works in Europe, but all the Pro Tour weekend in the UK have dedicated volunteer markers. :D

Heard someone talking about it, so thought I'd ask the question. If so, whats the ruling to enter etc.

Cheers

Yes there is going to be an Officials Cup. I have planned it for the first Saturday in September at Derby. You just need to let me know if you want to enter.

Hi Sean,

Derby's pro tour in September will be hosting the Knockout between us on the Saturday Evening.
For every winner, there are dozens of losers. Odds are you're one of them.
