a good day again at the lakes a bit quieter than normal due to vic and corset not beng there
. the winner was alan loveridge who played well all day runner up was dave lane . the final alan won 5 4 with all the legs going with the throw. semi finalists were mark jones and neville roberts, hihest lady was shared by debbie beamand sarah beamand and jackie cooper. dave honey continued with his bad luck at the lakes losing to charlie attwood in the first round to be fair it was a cracking game and neither player deserved to lose . also sarah beating rob 4 1 was a fantastic result and well deserved . well done as usual to stubby for helping with the running of the comp, sorry i kept disappearing mate but the hammers were on tv . also sophie thanks for the efforts again and doing the draws. to everybody who has played at the comps this year have a great xmas and a good 2010. redders kept his 100% record up not turning up but sayin he wll make the next one well done redders hope you get a newbook of excuses for xmas, washing the duck is wearing thin now
